Flatshare DescriptionWe're 2 northern lasses looking for a friendly, clean and easy-going flatmate to share our home with. We have been here for 1 and a half years and love living here - it is very much a home to us.
The flat is over two floors in a Victorian terrace on a quiet residential street between Clapton and Stoke Newington. The available double bedroom is at the top of the house and is very spacious and light. It is currently unfurnished (All the furniture in the picture is our housemates which she will be taking with her) but we can ask the landlord to move their furniture back in if you need it - just let us know what you intend to bring with you, otherwise the landlord should have a bed, a wardrobe and some drawers.
The bathroom is shared by everyone in the house, it is kept nice and clean. The kitchen area has gas hobs, an oven, microwave, built in fridge / freezer and washing machine.
We are creatives in our late 20s, early 30s, we work in PR and design. The house is usually pretty quiet during the week as we often work long hours Mon-Friday - preferably looking for someone with a similar schedule - but we are easy going, good friends and do enjoy a catch up over a meal and a glass or two.
The room is to be taken from the end of Feb / beginning of March, for one person.
Rent 755 per month, a deposit of 860 will also need to be payed to our current housemate, as you will be effectively taking over her contract. There will possibly be some agency fees for contract updates and reference checks, we will discuss this more if you come and look around. We are currently on a rolling contract, but neither of us intend on moving anywhere anytime soon :)
Monthly bills (electricity & gas, Thames water, council tax, TV license & internet) comes to around 70. For household stuff like loo roll and cleaning supplies, we just buy in when we need and pop it on a money split app.
6 min walk from Clapton station, 8 minute walk to Rectory Road. Also a 20-30 minute bus ride on the 106 to Finsbury Park which takes you straight into central in about 45 minutes to an hour.
House is situated on a quiet residential street with resident permit parking (neither of us have a car, but you are welcome to - parking permits are arranged with Hackney Council)
If you would like to come and meet us and see the house, please send a message with a little bit about your self and situation, and we will get back to you. THANKS :)
