Flatshare Description

Hello,

We are Bernard, Trine and Niamh and we are looking for a new addition to our lovely, big, sun-filled house in Highbury. We have lived here for three and a half years (unbelievably!); one of our long-term housemates is returning to Sweden so we need to find a replacement.

The place is a large Edwardian semi-detached house with a big garden and a garage (convenient for storing bikes bbq etc.). Its actually a five bedroom house but we keep one room free so visiting guests can stay without disturbing the living area. It has a big kitchen-living-dining area, a conservatory, bathroom, WC and separate shower room. The room we are renting is the small room, but it does accommodate a 122cm wide bed thanks to a bespoke furniture item that we built, which also incorporates clothing storage. The room has a large window which faces south, overlooking the garden.

The area is a quiet, leafy neighbourhood in North London close to beautiful Clissold Park and Stoke Newington Church St. There are corner shops, nice artisanal grocery shops, bars, cafes and an excellent wine shop within a 2 min walk. Arsenal, Cannonbury, Finsbury Park and Highbury and Islington stations are all within a 10-15 min walk.

We are three architects from Ireland, Denmark and Ireland respectively. We are very laid-back and friendly. Bernard is into theatre and literature, Trine is into "slow living" and design, Niamh is into health and fitness and "the arts". Its rather difficult to explain what we're really like in this forum, but i assure you that we are nice!

We hope that the person we find will be friendly, tidy, relaxed and up for a laugh.
