Flatshare Description

Very large, bright double room just off Newington Green with high ceilings and a fireplace. There's a double bed, drawers and wardrobe. The flat is on the 1st and 2nd floors of 3 storey house but has its own separate entrance. It has an integrated kitchen/dining area/lounge and one bathroom. You'd be sharing the house with 3 other flatmates who lead independent lives but also occasionally hang out in the flat over a cup of tea, glass of wine or meal. There's also a cute but greedy cat =^.^=

We are looking for someone who is friendly and laid-back but will pull their weight in keeping the place presentable and wants somewhere calm and quiet to return to at the end of the day - really not a party flat! A cleaner comes once a week and all bills (cleaning, gas, water, broadband, council tax etc) are split evenly and usually works out as less than 100 a month (all cat stuff is paid for by their owner). The flat is let through a landlord and not a letting agency and we've all been here between 3 and 5 years. Two housemates are English and one Canadian. We work in textile design, social work and research. Interests vary but include the usual suspects; theatre, film, gigs, eating out/drinks with friends etc.

Newington Green is a lovely area, with some really good local pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops, and the Green itself is lovely spot of grass to sit on in the sun. It is also really well placed for Angel, Dalston and Stoke Newington. It is a 15min walk/8min bus journey to Highbury and Islington tube (25min/12min to Angel), and is very well connected with lots of buses and the 3 overground stations nearby.

If you are interested in viewing the room, please email us and tell us a bit about yourself. Viewings on Saturday 17th Feb and possibly Monday 19th Feb. Look forward to hearing from you!
