London Fields is a lovely, vibrant area of East London that is often referred to as one of the coolest parts of London! There are a number of excellent bars, Cafe's and restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the flat at 'Broadway Market. It's a great little hub. You can find grocery stores, deli's, a butcher, fishmonger, off license and bakery all on that one street. There is also a wonderful farmers market there every Saturday that has craft and food stalls as well as the usual farmers fare (meat, vegetables, fruit, cakes etc.). It's busy and fun and there's always some street music too.

You overlook London Fields park from the flat. It's perfect for a picnic. The park has a heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a basketball court as well. For the evening, there's a wonderful pub called 'Pub on the Park' that does really good food and has a large outside seating area. It's just at the end of our road!

Despite being a vibrant area it's surprisingly quiet in the flat. Some peace amongst the bustle outside!

There is also a larger park called Victoria Park which is a 15 minute walk from the flat. There is a variety of Cafe's, pubs and restaurants at one of the park's exits - Victoria Park Village.

We have a very cool independent cinema 10 mins walk from the flat. Hackney Picturehouse opened last year and shows the latest box office films as well as lesser known ones. It has a great little Cafe will free wifi too.

If you're looking to go into Central London the journey couldn't be easier. There is a station 1 min walk from the flat which takes you into Liverpool Street. This has Central line, Circle line, District line and Met line connections to anywhere! You can be in Covent Garden, Soho, Leicester Square, Hyde Park, Oxford Street or Kensington in about 15 minutes.
